Musician and sound freak for as long as I can remember.
My father was a jazz trumpet player in his early life and greatly be honored when invited for a jam session with Luis Armstrong back in the 50ies. I guess that was inspiring somehow.
"Ive been experimenting with electronics, sounds, music and voices almost as long as I can remember.
A favorite thing in my youth was recording every imaginable sound on tape.
My fathers old Grundig tape recorder was a huge part of interest.
My modified TV collection from the junk in the 70ies reached up to the ceiling. I guess that was my first contact with visual art (in the 70ies, whooo)- -
My friends had a lot to laugh about when I frightened the neighbors with loudspeakers hung in the trees.
I once invited my whole school class to a friends garage for sound recordings where everyone got a hammer or something making big noise with.
Everyone is speaking about those events ever since. Ive always been a big fan of radio plays, so I went for some soundrecordings of early XYZ Films in the 70ies.
Music and noise is my life. The experiment of exposing myself directly to the most varied of influences and immediately translating this into music has been a success for me personally.
This confirms the sound experiment "Kunstfabrik Westerwald". In order to be as broadminded as possible,
I let absolutely every influence from which ever direction it comes
musically as well as emotionally affect me.
I think this is the only way that really new music can come into being, only then an artist can be free from prejudices and one-sidedness. "
